Dr. Elie Harmouche is a medical toxicologist and attending emergency medicine physician at Maimonides Medical Center. He was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, and he received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and served as chief resident in his final year, followed by fellowship in toxicology at NYU Langone/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. His areas of interest include toxicology, addiction and substance use, simulation medicine, resuscitation, and critical care.
