Dr. Quinn is a board-certified Emergency Medicine and EMS physician who is passionate about education, mentorship, and improving the quality of prehospital care. He provides education and medical oversight at the Maimonides Medical Center EMS ambulance department, which is the second largest contributor to the 911 system in New York City. He was previously at Cooper University Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services. At Cooper, he trained in a progressive EMS system with paramedic-initiated buprenorphine to treat opiate use disorder. This has encouraged him to continue expanding the field of prehospital medicine. Dr. Quinn often goes by the nickname “Q” and loves getting to know his EMS clinicians and trainees at Maimonides. In his free time, he loves to attempt home-improvement projects, spend time with family, and travel to off-the-beaten-path places.
